We began in a tranquil woodland retreat in Northern Maine, USA. Now, we have expanded into Colorado, our new home. The Rocky Mountains offer their inspiring vistas for meditation, and experiencing Reiki here allows your true nature to emerge in the perfect place and time.

Avanti Healing Arts® is not just a name or a location. It is an approach to wellness consciousness that Gianna takes with her whereever she travels to teach. She specializes in Reiki Healing Energy for Animals and the Land. Besides Reiki classes, collaboration with experts in yoga, meditation, taichi, qigong, and healing from natural perspectives are always part of the approach from Avanti Healing Arts®.

About Gianna…
Gianna Settin, PhD, Director of Colorado-based Avanti Healing Arts®, respected Reiki Master Teacher of Gendai Reiki Ho, Usui-Tibetan, and Karuna Reiki®, is one of only a few Gendai Reiki Ho Shihans offering training in this school of Japanese Reiki in the USA. From a family of musicians, her first career was as a professional ballet soloist in France. Calling upon this experience, she later originated Reiki Healing Dance™ now presented worldwide as a certification course. From the rest of a varied career path winding its way through veterinary medicine, psychology, herbalism and dance emerge her specialties: Reiki with Animals; Reiki with Plants; Reiki and Emotional Healing, and Reiki and Dance.

Dr. Settin is recognized for her contributions in geriatric medicine and clinical psychology with academic degrees from Columbia University and SUNY Stony Brook. She is an accomplished therapist with over 25 years experience in private practice, having presented topics in healthcare and holistic medicine at hundreds of professional conferences and workshops, with numerous publications in psychology and Reiki (to view CV-Resume click here).

She began Avanti Healing Arts® and Reiki after a trek in Nepal in the late 1990s and has taught Reiki around the world since 2002– in English and French. Reiki Classes offered in the High Mountains of Colorado integrate offerings from her lifelong experience with meditation and movement-based energy therapies, and Tibetan Buddhism and Native American influences, into creative workshops.

Gianna's approach to life – as in her work – is not only contemplative --- it's about making the choice to be light-hearted whereever possible. Remember the Reiki precepts? When not hiking and writing she practices and teaches Reiki and Meditation in the High Mountains of Estes Park.
