Choose Psychotherapeutic Reiki, which merges Eastern and Western-European traditions of healing. This approach – adding Reiki treatment to more conventional mind/body methods – is now acknowledged by the scientific community, particularly those involved in holistic health and energy psychology. Dr. Settin, who has more than 25 years of clinical experience in diverse mental health settings, is one of only a few Reiki Master Teachers also qualified to provide sound, professional psychotherapy.

Psychotherapeutic Reiki is especially helpful in cases where childhood trauma, struggles with mental illness or personality issues interfere with the ability to achieve balance. By combining the two, clients can accelerate progress, strengthen outcomes and speed healing.

Also offered is Intuitive Energy Healing, which works with the human energy field via chakra balancing, aura clearing and emotional release. This approach, which often incorporates a healing attunement or movement-based therapy like Reiki Healing Dance™, safely and quickly unblocks constricted energy and restores the free flow of Ki, the life force.

An additional aspect included in Dr. Settin's Intuitive Energy Healing work (via the use of Feng Sui and intuitive geopathic and environmental readings) is Environmental Reiki Consultation to home and office settings and the land, for removal of unwanted energetic influences, and restoration of balance.

Animal Reiki Consultation & Treatment is now available on an outreach basis. As a former veterinary surgical technician, Dr. Settin is comfortable dealing with a variety of situations that commonly occur with domestic animals and wildlife (including birds, amphibians and reptiles), and the emotional issues they experience that can be due to illness or stem from imbalances in the environments in which they live. Special emphasis is upon behavioral and psychological issues. No animal too big, weird or wild (venemous snakes & gators excepted). Dr. Gianna Settin holds a psychology degree from Columbia University, and earned her PhD in psychology from SUNY at Stony Brook. Her clinical expertise is in energy psychology and holistic health, anxiety and stress management, couples relationships, and artistic creativity and spiritual transformation throughout the lifespan. She has worked in various careers that call on her medical experience: with elders in nursing homes and as a therapist and administrator in hospital and community outreach mental health settings. After many years living in Maine, she has closed her conventional psychology practice and now lives in Colorado where she blends Psychotherapeutic Reiki, Intuitive Energy sessions, Chakra Balancing, Aura Clearing, and Reiki---utilizing Japanese Reiki Techniques--in her treatment of animals as well as humans.
